1. Controller
The data controller is Forge Technologies FZE, trading as LearnForge, a free zone establishment registered with the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP) free zone under licence no. 11612, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Contact: support@learnforge.me.
2. Personal data we collect

We do not collect or store your full payment-card details. Card payments are handled entirely by Paddle.
3. How we use your data
- to create and manage your account and authenticate you;
- to generate personalised learning content tailored to your profile;
- to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
- to manage subscriptions, billing, and tier entitlements;
- to communicate with you about your account, support requests, and service updates;
- to comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
4. Legal bases (PDPL)
We process personal data where:
- it is necessary to perform our contract with you (providing the Service);
- you have given consent (which you may withdraw at any time);
- it is necessary for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, balanced against your rights; or
- it is required to comply with a legal obligation.
5. AI processing
To generate content, the topics and profile details you provide are sent to our AI model providers (for example, Anthropic) for the sole purpose of producing your requested lessons. We instruct providers to process this data only to deliver the Service. Please avoid entering sensitive personal data into prompts.
6. Sharing & sub-processors
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run LearnForge, including:

7. International transfers
Some providers process data outside the UAE. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on safeguards permitted under the PDPL (such as adequacy, appropriate contractual protections, or your consent) to protect your data.
8. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for a reasonable period to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution requirements. You can request deletion of your account at any time.
9. Your rights
Subject to the PDPL, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- request deletion of your data;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- request a copy of your data in a portable format;
- lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office.

10. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures (including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege service credentials) to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Cookies & local storage
We use essential cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your session and preferences. The payment provider may set cookies needed to process checkout securely. We do not use advertising-tracking cookies.
12. Children
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email, with the "Last updated" date revised above.
