Terms of Service
1. Who we are
LearnForge ("LearnForge", "we", "us", "our") is a software service operated by Forge Technologies FZE, a free zone establishment registered with the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP) free zone under licence no. 11612, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LearnForge website, applications, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and purchase a subscription.
- If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
3. The Service
LearnForge generates personalised learning roadmaps, lessons, and visual learning aids using artificial intelligence and retrieval-augmented generation over a curated source corpus. The Service is provided for personal, educational, and informational purposes.
4. AI-generated content & no professional advice
Content produced by the Service is generated by automated AI systems and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. You should independently verify any information before relying on it. LearnForge content does not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial, or other expert advice. You use AI-generated content at your own risk.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of UAE law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combating Rumours and Cybercrimes;
- attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or generated content without our written permission;
- upload or generate content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or that violates the rights of others;
- use the Service to develop a competing product or to train competing AI models.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
6. Subscriptions, billing & auto-renewal
Paid plans are offered as recurring monthly subscriptions. Prices are shown on our pricing page within the Service and are stated exclusive or inclusive of applicable taxes as indicated at checkout.
- Reseller / Merchant of Record. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), which acts as the merchant of record and authorised reseller for purchases of the Service. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms, and Paddle issues your invoice and handles applicable taxes.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until cancelled.
- Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from your account or via the billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan remains active until the end of the current paid period.
- Refunds. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
- Price changes. We may change prices or plan features on reasonable prior notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
7. Free trial / free tier
We may offer a free tier or trial with usage limits. We may modify or withdraw free features at any time. Quotas and limits are described in the Service and may change.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and underlying source corpus, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, you may use AI-generated lessons you create for your own personal learning. We retain all rights not expressly granted to you.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will be accurate or fit for any particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable UAE law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us (via our payment processor) in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including non-waivable rights under UAE consumer-protection law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.
12. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or if required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, liability) will survive.
13. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
14. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable laws of the Emirate of Sharjah. The courts of Sharjah, UAE, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, without prejudice to any non-waivable consumer rights you may have.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
